We refer to Talam’s announcements dated 27 April 2007, 30 April 2007, 27 September 2007, 25 October 2007, 21 November 2007, 2 May 2008 and 15 September 2008 (“Announcements”) in relation to the Proposed Regularisation Plan. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Talam, RHB Investment Bank Berhad (“RHB Investment Bank”) is pleased to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad had, vide its letter dated 5 January 2009, granted its approval-in-principle for the following:
(a) admission to the Official List and the listing of and quotation of 1,287,010,000 RCPS of RM0.20 each;
(b) admission to the Official List and the listing of and quotation of up to 89,622,905 RCSLS-B, up to 855,010,000 RCSLS-C and up to 585,010,000 RCSLS-D; and
(c) listing of up to 3,068,292,905 new ordinary shares of RM0.20 each in Talam to be issued upon the conversion of the RCPS, RCSLS-A, RCSLS-B, RCSLS-C and RCSLS-D.
