IMPOSITION OF SUSPENSION

We refer to Listing's Circular No. L/Q : 46385 of 2007 issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 28 September 2007 wherein Bursa Securities has advised that a suspension will be imposed on the trading of the securities of the Company pursuant to paragraph 8.14C(5) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m., Thursday, 4 October 2007 until further notice.
The Board of Directors of Talam wishes to announce that the Company had, vide its letter dated 2 October 2007, sought the approval of Bursa Securities for an extension of time on paragraph 8.14C(5) of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
